This patent from Samsung teaches new materials useful for n-doping carbon nanotubes in order to create nanotube-bases diodes, LEDs, and transistors. Claim 1 reads:
1. A carbon nano-tube (CNT) n-doping composition comprising:
carbon nano-tubes and a material which n-dopes a carbon nano-tube,
said n-doping material comprising nicotinamide and a compound which is chemically combined with nicotinamide,
wherein the compound which is chemically combined with nicotinamide is at least one selected from the group consisting of nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN), a nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD), a nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NADP), reduced nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMNH), a reduced nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NADH) and a reduced nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NADPH).
