US Patent 7883927 - Sorting nanotubes in plasma

This patent from Micron Technology teaches a new method of sorting carbon nanotubes by length to enable integration with semiconductor fabrication. Claim 1 reads:

1. A method, comprising:

providing a bundle of nanotubes;

suspending the nanotubes in a plasma to provide plasma-suspended nanotubes; and

sorting the plasma-suspended nanotubes according to size and separating the plasma-suspended nanotubes from remnant material using a motive force.
