This patent teaches a device used to determine the effects of nanoparticles in the atmosphere on biological organisms which is important for evaluating safety of various nanoparticle applications in industry. Claim 1 reads:

1. A nano-particle containing apparatus comprising:

a casing having a containing space for accommodating a plurality of nano-particles;

an air extracting device for pumping the nano-particles from the containing space;

a pressure control device for controlling the pressure status of the containing space; and

a measuring instrument for detecting the status of an object affected by the nano-particles after the object is delivered into the containing space.
