US Patent 7453085 - Nanoelastic memory

This patent from Samsung teaches a variation of the nanotube RAM originally developed by Nantero and which shapes the nanotubes as coils instead of ribbons. Claim 1 reads:

1. A nano-elastic memory device comprising:

at least one lower electrode;

at least one upper electrode vertically separated from the at least one lower electrode, the at least one lower electrode perpendicularly crosses the at least one upper electrode; and

at least one nano-elastic body grown on one of the at least one lower electrode and the at least one upper electrode towards the other of the at least one lower electrode and the at least one upper electrode.
