This is another patent to Intel with broad claims to using optical trapping to control the motion of carbon nanotubes. Claim 1 reads:

1. A method comprising: focusing a laser beam to a carbon nanotube (CNT) in a fluid, the CNT being responsive to a trapping frequency; and manipulating the carbon nanotube (CNT) by controlling the focused laser beam.
