US Patent 7651770 - Drug delivery nanoclusters

Nanoparticles have been shown to improve the dissolution and transport of therapeutic drugs. This patent from the University of Kansas teaches forming nanoclusters from solid nanoparticles to improve the accessibility of cellular targets. Claim 1 reads:

1. A nano-cluster comprising a plurality of nano-particles, wherein the nano-particles include an active ingredient and a polymer, and wherein the nano-cluster is not hollow.
