US Patent 7429371 - Nucleic acid dispersant for CNTs
http://www.freepatentsonline.com/7429371.html
In applications such as pH sensors it would be advantageous to controllably reverse oxidation of carbon nanotubes. This patent from du Pont teaches using nucleic acid wrapped carbon nanotubes to achieve a stabilized charge storage device for such applications. Claim 1 reads:
1. A stable charge storage device comprising at least one dispersed oxidized or reduced carbon nanotube in an aqueous solution, said carbon nanotube associated with a nucleic acid dispersant.
