This patent from Northrop Grumman teaches more accurate control of quantum logic using resonators. Claim 1 reads:

1. In a quantum circuit having a qubit coupled to a resonator, a method for creating a quantum logic gate, comprising:

adjusting quantum state in the qubit by transitioning a classical control parameter between control points at a selected one of slow and fast transition speeds;

whereby a slow transition speed exchanges energy states of the qubit and the resonator, and a fast transition speed preserves the energy states of the qubit and the resonator.
