US Patent 7498423 - CNT-DNA complexes
http://www.freepatentsonline.com/7498423.html
DNA has been found to facilitate the dispersal of nanotubes in solution which is important so that the nanotubes may be uniformly distributed in a composite. This patent from duPont (with priority going back to 11/18/2003) seems basic to this technique. Claim 1 reads:
1. A dispersed, carbon nanotube-nucleic acid complex consisting of a single walled carbon nanotube bound to single stranded nucleic acid molecules by non-covalent means, wherein the carbon nanotube is unfunctionalized.
