US Patent 8181941 - Hydrogen storage using nanobubbles

This patent is from HCE LLC and teaches how to form nanobubbles in a liquid for storing hydrogen in a stable medium which is claimed to have a volumetric energy density about the same as that of gasoline. Claim 1 reads:

1. A quasi-liquid comprising a gas stored within bubbles of less than 5 nanometers in diameter and greater than about 0.8 nanometers in diameter, wherein the bubble comprises a spherical skin that is different matter than the gas.
