This patent from Samsung teaches how to form a more durable touch panel display which incorporates carbon nanotubes in the sensing electrode. Claim 1 reads:

1. A display device, comprising:

a first substrate;

a second substrate facing the first substrate;

a sensing electrode disposed on the first substrate or the second substrate; and at least one touch sensor protrusion facing the sensing electrode, wherein the touch sensor protrusion comprises an organic material and carbon nanotubes.
